After you get caught up on your unlearning, you’ll have lots of space for new neuronal associations and fresh perspective. In addition to your asana practice you might want to explore your capacity for pursuing your interests with some free education.
Massachusetts Institute of Technology has an unbelievable number of courses available on line at their Open Courseware website.
Among the most charming and well known are a series of lectures by a brilliant professor of physics, Dr Walter Lewin. Lewin’s love of physics drives him to spend 25 hours per lecture developing and refining how he explains phenomena in the world around us! What an important and generous inspiration for those of us who teach.
Lewin’s conviction about physics is its potential to wake his students up to presence and wonder. “All of you have looked at rainbows. But very few of you have ever seen one. Seeing is different than looking. Today we are going to see a rainbow.”
